This release of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Saber Plain Clothes Version 1/8 Scale PVC Figure from Alter features Saber in an unusually feminine casual wear.  It's not an understatement to say that fans were shocked to see Saber without her armor, or the white and blue casual wear.  

The sculptor Yoshi certainly knows how to make a splash.  Saber's clothing is highly unusual in many ways (pic 2).  The basic color is brown, and the embellishments use different shades of brown.  The skirt daringly goes way up and above mid-thigh, but not high enough to flash her underwear.  Now contrast this with a long, arms and wrists covering shirt that bares her shoulders.  A light brown, form fitting blouse accentuated by two dark brown straps, and a ribbon above her chest, is slapped over the shirt and skirt.  The sandals match the coloring of the casual wear, and completes the outfit.

Saber is shown playing with her hair with her right hand (pic 3), and holding a sandal in her left hand (pic 4).  She still looks confident and bold, yet lost in thought.  Wind is blowing from her left, and pushing her dress and hair to the the right.  The result is a fantastic new look of Saber for fans to cherish.

Craftsmanship is excellent.  The figure is basically one piece of ABS, with minor parts of PVC in the hair, ribbon, skirt, and sandal.  The figure is extremely stable and balanced, with all the weight placed on Saber's right leg (pic 5).  The paint job is flawless.  The eyes in particular will grab your attention (pic 6).

The Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Saber Plain Clothes Version 1/8 Scale PVC Figure from Alter offers a refreshingly different look at Saber.  This release is a must buy for all Saber fans!
